I ordered this phone about a month ago and I am so pleased with it. It fits beautifully in the hand, charges quickly, has very long battery life and is incredibly easy to use, especially for someone who is not that into all the features on cell phones. I can definitely recommend this phone to anyone. The picture quality at 3.2 megapixels is really good and my children enjoy taking lots of impromptu pictures with it. FM stereo reception is good. Really pleased with my purchase. As usual, my compliments to Amazon on an excellent price and delivery service.

I bought this phone in purple – in support of pancreatic cancer awareness and because I wanted a quad band phone.

It is nice to look at, has a nice “feel”, but the features are basic.

There is very little you can do with it in terms of the telephone aspect of it. I guess it is great for photos, especially since it has the photo editor. The screen is the best feature on this phone. It is big and performs well even in direct sunlight (a plus for the camera users). After 6 photos which I transferred from my Nokia I was told that the memory was full. My Nokia 6320 has loads of photos and music on it.

With regard to ringtones, you’d probably have to buy the memory card, or stick with what they have on the phone. I was not too enthusiastic about the ringtones the phone came with. I like naturelike sounds and classic ringtones. I read a review which said that Sony was targetting the younger folk (I am 45), so that accounts for the type of ringtones and graphics which are embedded in the phone.

The slide mechanism is sturdy, as is the keypad. The slits which represent the select and menu buttons can be a tad difficult if you have long nails, or large fingers (again the target was young folk).

The downsides are that the vibrating mechanism is weak and for some reason unknown to me, after 45 minutes of talking on it, the phone cuts off

The 2610 had all the promise of a great upgrade that improved some of the issues I had with my GREAT 3120 and 3220 previous, and almost perfectly enjoyable, Nokia phones. But, alas they blew it with a couple of stupid and totally unnecessary killers.

First the GREAT things did with the 2610. They allow you to customize(assign)the navigation(arrow)keys to functions of YOUR choice. not theirs. They added a needed center button to the navigation keys. They replaced the infuriating proprietary NOKIA POP-PORT combination USB and HEADPHONE access port with separate STANDARD USB and HEADPHONE jacks. And they expanded the number and length of info that can be added to each addr book contact.

The killers for me? The USB port is not a PC Sync port. It CANNOT be used with Nokia’s PC Suite sync software, or any other mfgs, to back up personal contact, etc info you so laboriously put into your phone. Nokia, if your reading this, without an IR or Bluetooth wireless connection on this phone, how is one to BACKUP their data on this otherwise excellent phone you put a USB port on??? Second, why to heck would you reduce the readeability of this phone in daylight by removing the ability to remove wallpaper(increases contrast) behind contact lists, remove the ability to choose a list in place of stupid miniuature unreadeable wallpapered icons in Menus, then add insult to injury by then decreasing the readeability in daylight with a non-removeable shade over the display.

Samsung i900, is it or is it not a great phone? That is a good question allot of people might ask themselves. Me personally I think its a neat phone, great phone I think it falls just short of that. There are allot of wonderful points about this phone, Small, Thin, Stylish, 5MP camera, Flash, Space, EXTRA SPACE (if you really needed more), WiFi, FM Radio, Speaker Phone, Great Color, even the appz you can get for it are great. Is it worth 600+ bucks, well maybe depending on how you look at it. I mean its a phone that is UNLOCKED, meaning you can take it to any provider, AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, and even over on the other side of the world. Since this version of the phone is an Unlocked International Phone. So yeah in my opinion yes its worth the money. Any other unlocked phone of this type would run you about the same in costs. I have a few things I dont understand about it yet but hey its worth learning about. I hope this review helps some people out making a choice on if they should get this phone or not so please the biggest thing I can say is read the reviews before you purchase a phone.

I bought this to replace my wife’s Sony slider. She really loved her RAZR and never warmed up to the slider. I did a ton of research and this phone has great reviews from everyone. I initiall ordered it from Cellular Blowout. What a nightmare. The order was cancelled, thank God. I wised up and ordered through Amazon. Fast and dependable as always.

The phone came in an impressive package. We slid in the AT&T sim card and it worked instantly. Not all the contacts moved over, but not a big deal. Paired with bluetooth effortlessly. The call quality is top notch. A lot more bells and whistles but my wife will never use them.

The bottom line. Same great RAZR. Much better built quality. Improved sound. 2 giant screens. You cannot go wrong with this phone. You get what you paid for.

Having used the razr v3 for a month or two at this point, i have no significant complaints. The reception is reasonable, better than the 3 year old Nokia 6822 that my wife uses, but not as good as many other phones of newer makes and models. The phone when first turned on begins in Spanish but automatically switched to English as soon as the network was accessed.

The speakerphone is not worthwhile and is only used when absolutely necessary as there is poor voice quality on the other end and the output sound is scratchy and sounds as though the speaker is blown. Another point of frustration I’ve experienced with the razr is an increase in the voice echo when speaking with other cell phones, although I’m not certain if the fault is the phones or my current networks’ issue.

Overall, I feel like this phone is a reasonable purchase for 100 dollars for an unlocked phone and I’m satisfied with it. In fact, I’m considering purchasing another to upgrade the reception of my wife’s service, but not so sold on the value as to make it a no brainer-type decision.

Other functions such as bluetooth, camera, video camera etc. work as expected and provide satisfactory results.

I really like the product overall, but it is taking some time learning the different features since all the documentation that came with it is printed in Greek. Therefore, I am having to figure everything out on my own.
